Hello!

So glad you dropped by! This year has been a good one for this retired couple. We took our first cruise, something we hear is essential for all retirees, right? The Celebrity Millennium was a beautiful ship and the inside passage of Alaska was incredible as was that ginormous mountain we all call Mt. McKinley (but is known as Denali up there) but I don't think cruising is for us. We are more into spur of the moment, "let's go over there and see THAT" type of vacation.
We did go on our annual Nantucket trip in September enjoying that lovely island at our timeshare and enjoyed a lovely trip to Yosemite in May.

One of the things we love doing is going out for a spontaneous 'galavant'. We love checking out restaurants featured on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" and "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on the Food Network and HGTV. We'd love to go on a cross-country road trip someday too. If we could figure out how to take our kitties with us, we would! That's Tippy and Bobo, bet buds.

We still have a great time letterboxing (www.atlasquest.com) a hobby blending 'treasure-hunting' and rubber-stamp carving. It gets us out in nature and to interesting places we'd not otherwise see and experience. We also attended a dozen SF Giants games this year and will travel to San Deigo later this month to watch Cal beat Texas in the Holiday Bowl--GO BEARS!!

Our kids are good for the most part: Jeff is currently in Southern California and has gotten bit by the sailing bug! This is a guy who, as a child, refused to take swimming lessons and has always eschewed the water! And now, he hopes to buy a big sail boat and make it his home. This will happen after snowboarding season, of course.

Avery and Jessica are enjoying life in So Cal as well. Avery's entering the masters program in creative writing at Antioch University and Jessica works for a film production company reading scripts. She is a talented screenwriter and is courting a couple of interested parties for her "rom-com" (romantic comedy) and an animated, super-hero cartoon she's developed.

They celebrated their third wedding anniversary on Halloween and remind us of US when we were first married.

We celebrated Diane's birthday in Santa Monica with Avery and Jessica and had a wonderful time.

We'd love to hear from you--drop us an email:
